Will the next part of Lucid9 be available for free like Inciting Incident? When will it be released?
Yes, it is our hope to release it for free. There is currently no release date for the heroine routes. If you'd like to know a bit more about our progress, please follow our blog for updates. If you have any specific questions, you can always contact us via email or on Discord (with the latter being the quickest and surest way to reach us).
How many routes will there be in the next part of Lucid9? How long will they be?
Lucid9 will have 4 heroine routes and 1 true route. We estimate the length of each route to be somewhat less than Inciting Incident (roughly 10 hours), but that estimation may change the closer we near completion.
When will the voiced version of Inciting Incident be completed?
There is currently no release date for the full voice acting patch. However, a partial voice patch consisting of Days 1-3 (three hours of content) was released on January 9th, 2021 and can be downloaded here. The casting company assisting us, Yin Yang Voices, are comprised of professional actors who are working on other commercial projects, so it will take some time for them to record for Lucid9, which is currently non-commercial.
Will there be an option to turn off the voiceover?
Yes.
Are you looking to translate Lucid9 in another language?
If you are a translator and would like to translate the game, please send us a portfolio of your previous work. While we are unable to directly assist in the translation process, we can provide a copy of the scripts as well as any additional assets.
Do you plan on doing a Kickstarter?
As of July 2021, we announced our plan to create a Kickstarter to fund the remainder of the game. If all goes well, we are aiming to have a live campaign some time before the end of 2021. You can find more information about the Kickstarter here.
Will there be erotic scenes?
No, there won't. We never saw much reason to include them. This isn't to say we're avoiding the topic of sex altogether--just don't expect anything explicit.
Can I donate to the project? If not, how else can I support you?
We are currently not accepting any donations, but we appreciate the offer! The best way to support us is to share Lucid9 with everyone you know. Feel free to follow us on social media and interact with us. Your support is fuel for our motivation to continue working on this project. It may seem like a small gesture, but it really does mean a lot!
How do you feel about fan-made content for Lucid9? (Fanart, fanfiction, Let's Plays, walkthroughs, etc.)
We encourage any kind of fan-made content. You're free to do anything you please so long as your work is released for free and proper credit is given. However, please do not claim your work is anything more than a fanwork, nor that Fallen Snow Studio endorses it.
Why are you partnered with Sekai Project?
Not only do they help promote Lucid9, they also assist us with publishing our game on Steam. They're very cool people.
Are you looking for more staff?
