Lucid9 is a mystery visual novel set in the fictional metropolis of Isamu, Japan. After a string of brutal murders at his boarding academy, Yama Ishimoto finds himself assisting an eccentric detective in her investigation to uncover the culprit. They soon discover the recent killings are eerily reminiscent of the Independent Murders that plunged the city into a state of chaos years prior. With authorities proving unreliable just as they were then, Yama struggles to piece together the mystery before he and his friends inevitably end up on the growing list of victims.  
Lucid9 is a noncommercial, mystery visual novel created by Fallen Snow Studios, an international team of creative developers formed in 2014. The project is available free of charge under the Creative Commons BY-NC-ND License, and is published on Steam.
